a bday chalet next yr?

seeing xl's bday party.. really tempts me to have one next yr too.. it has been my dream? wish? to have a large scale party on my bday.. havin my bday on a sat this yr.. is tt a sign tt i shld have it.. also.. it is right smack during the NUS recess week.. and 1 week of chinese new year.. ren ri.. it will everyone's bday actually... hmmmmmm.but the tt of the plannin..hmmm maybe i shld nt be so fickled minded and just go ahead...hmmmmm how?....

gatherings

Sunday
for the past few days.. i went to 2 gatherings.. the first one was my YEP gathering. went to this jap place at marina sq.. it was fantastic!! great food at reasonable price.. totally love it.. will patron it once again.. there were liek 12 of us.. it has been liek soooo long since we met.. i had this beef set thingy where u had to pour an uncooked egg into this beef hotplate and cook it.. it came with this mashed potato salad thingy, a rice and a ramen.. omg. the ramen was soo good... we ordered paper steamboat too... i def will give tt place a thumbs up!!! def a must try place.. hope to see another gathering soon yupz.. prob during chinese new yr?

monday was a day of work.. was really playin too hard for the past week already... so had to type my report to boss.. complete it within 40min.. wow.. i am good haha... the rest of the day was spent online surfing ard.. bummin ard.. in the afternoon, my gor jio me out... ben, him and jy were at expo for some church services... wanted to meet for dinner.. ALL of us were fickled minded... and i mean fickle minded.. we can't decide where to go ... well in the end we went to sing K!!! omg i met Lisa.. omg. she is really a GOOD singer.. norm i will be the best singer or so lah.. but this time i must really salute her.. lol...

Tues was another nuahin day.. woke up at 1130 am.. wanted to go sch to grab stuff but it was rainin the whole day so i jsut slept... haha results was scheduled to be out at 3pm.. was really kan cheong for the whole day!!! OMG!!! i had butterflies in my stomach.. omg... BUT at 1240pm jy sms me and said tt results r oout... so i went to check... well i am glad i did ok.. i guess hard work really do pays off.. went out with my jie meis.. omg.. really miss them gals.. we must really meet up more often.. once or twice in a yr is soo nt enough... hmmmm i am supposed to plan a cookin session soon.. okies i will try hard... really busy....

everytime we meet up... there will be general idea or theme.. this time was more of adults stuff.. n ya nt wat u pple r thinkin... opps.... or is it me... alot of them r workin already.. now the topics r like findin jobs.. how to earn money, investments.. it is a real topic tt is going to hit me really soon.. i think i need to start to think abt it... and start lookin for a job... i am totally excited.. for this new phase in life... no longer dread it... it is just the beginning of a new life.. OMG!!!

my dresses

i am super into dresses nowadays... also dunno y.. maybe learning to dress up more maturely? look more womanly rather than girly? went out with my mummy today and sis and aunties and grandmum... bought 2 dresses today.. 1 a brown wrap ard.. totally love it... made me look slim and nice.. mummy said it was a little too low cut.. but i find it ok.. love it.. will wear it soon.... the other was a really smart blue flowered dress.. hmm i am very into such dressed recently.. bought another dress like only last week.. it was a blue spa dress... alittle baby doll type.. wore it to the banquet.. i think it look great on me.. oh no i noe.. BHB again.. but i really loved it.. made me look so girly.. :P i must jy to lose more wt to fit into my dream dresses.. those baby tube dresses.. tt look so princess.... :P

r 2 pple really made for each other... sometimes my frens tell me tt aye this person not suitable for ya lah... tt i shld deserve someone better... some say this guy is great.. shld keep.. hmmm R 2 pple really create and made to compliment each other in this world? i believe that.. no one is perfect in this world. it is never impossible to find someone who will compliment ya fully.. i believe tt couples should grow and learn from each other.. learn to compliment each other.. and create a beautiful story ahead of them... too idealistic? this is sth for ya to judge den... :P

Mon-wed
Went to the symposium held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. It was really an eye-opener for me.. So many prof and scientist all gathered in Singapore for a conference and lectures. attended a couple of lectures related to lanthanides and it was insightful.. realised that there are pple in this world doing similar things to me.. but different d block metal i guess. PHEW.. the food was good esp the brownies... yummmy.. must learn to make it..

signed up for being a tour guide on the 2nd night.. the plan was to go to Night safari initially.. but due to the rain... we changed it to where u noe!!!!!! VIVO city... omg.. it is the place tt i have been going to for the past mths... luckily for me.. i knew where to eat and shop... :P it was really fun to bring the profs out.. they were all so adorable... :) kept asking us questions... abt everything in sg... :P nice experience.. din regret going....

the banquet reminds me of a wedding dinner.. it is quite a nice place to hold one though the food was not tt great. but the ambience was great.. prob it was due to the pple... the cocktail was a little boring... as my usual gang was not there.. But i enjoyed the dinner.. cos jack and i were planning xl's bday party games.. haha.. we were tryin hard to make sure that she din see the games.. wanted it to be a surprise for her... Oh it was XL's bday party the next day at downtown east.. i volunteered to be her game mistress.. haha... roped in the help of SUresh and Jack.. :P

The day finally came.. for our darling gal XL!!.. we started off with all meetin at my place to help me to carry stuff.. i had the big basket thingy and a water tumbler.. and of course my PINK bag.. :P went down to fang yi's place.. den me, suresh and jack were busy coming up with the games and what jack said.. synthesis.. of the games..( it was just cutting paper and writing stuff) well when ya bring tog a grp of chem guys, their topics always revloves ard chemistry... well i guess their love for chemistry is really there ya :P fang yi, wan si and audrey were busy with the presents... we spent such a long time at fang yi's place and i was super hungry... cos i din really eat a gd breakfast.. was feeling super hungry... ps.. pple for being so grouchy... haha..just hungry lah..

Finally the time came at xl's bday party. haha.. all the gals were dressed up.. omg.. all of us looked so pretty.. but OF course our darling XL was the prettiest.. she was the shinning star tt night.. :P BUt i must salute the guys... they were great.. set up the bbq pit and volunteered to bbq... kudos to u pple.. :P next time if i got bbq, will call along u pple.. :P oh must say.. ck, jack and suresh were dressed in their flowerly shirts it was damn funny... they look like pple workin in sentosa or some pple tt u will hire to bbq for ya.. haha.. if ya want their services.. feel free to contact them.. hahha we played the games... it was fun esp the part with what is XL!!! a test of how well u noe her.. omg... tt is fun... den pple started to leave... with the NUS gang cont to stay for the night.. we played the game heart attack improvised by Kelvin.. OMG!!! it was damn fun!!! i totally loved it.. PS: guys i din mean to stick onto the wall lah.. but it was like just next to me.. so it is easier for me to stand up and stick onto it mah. hahah. For the rest... ask me for the improvised version yup!!!! den we went on to play polar bear. omg 2 hrs with tt game is no joke.. super draining... finally indian poker was a nice change.. ended with tt though.. den i think everyone cld not take it and start to crash... went home after tt to crash... and slept the whole friday.. omg.. so piggy.. ahhaah.. but this is one of the best bday parties i been to... lots of fun cos of u guys... XL thanks for organising this... :P it is temptin me to organise one myself too!!!!! :P

Thoughts:
The eventful past week was tiring.. BUT i never had so much fun.... symposium was a good place to gain experience and knowledge... from knowing more abt more project to gainin experience of being a tour guide.. i think i am so for it man!!!! :P shld consider changin line to this... :P i got to noe more pple better.. it was really fun working with them... and love working with them... i think now it wld be from a hi-bye thing to a how was ya day conversation... looking forward to more of such gatherings...

in love with salsa once again...

went to dance salsa with my kakis today after like 1 mth of non-salsa...IT Was only 1 word.. FUN more FUN and MORE FUN!! omg.. it is definetly.. miss it soo much... had a few hiccups initially.. but gt back on track after awhile.. the feeling of dancing it again on tt same dance floor is really great... want to cont more often... hope we can all progress on to learn sth new... Casino? oh mic came with his gf. omg.. they look soooo cute when they dance tog.... really envy them. :P

went out with ah gong just now.. we were talkin abt certain issues.. he told me tt suaning a guy is like u like him. OMG.. NO JOKE... i tt it was the other way rd.. Praising him shld be right? cos guy's ego damn big.. they liek to feel good n not kenna suan right.. omg.. ah gong... think u r unique lah... :P

BLur..... hehe i am not BLurrr or confused.. i am totally sane... i noe wat i am doing.. since we r on this topic.. some guys tell me tt gals like to act blur.. maybe i can offer some enlightment on this.. :).. wat r the cases we act blurr.. 1) when he finally takes the courage to say tt he like her.. AND!!!! THE GAL DOES NOT LIKE HIM. .. well to save his face and his ego.. we often act blur and change topic... :) it is quite true.. otherwise in situations when he is droppin hints.. we also act blurr.. hahaha... 2) acting blur when the gal want to get out of an situation. eg... kenna suanned by pple... will change topic and act as if she does not hear.. this is wat i call selective hearing... hmm sounds familar right hahaha...

this dec is just starting to get exciting... so many things happening.... i am just sooo excited.. got myself a dress... omg.. i want to change my image to more lady-like... sweeter and prettier.. :) well but also still remain cheerful......

i found my ice cream!!!! Ben and Jerry's New York Fudge Chocolate!!! OMG!!!!!

was pretty stressed out this morning... suddenly had a lost feeling.. but after speaking to my shifu, i feel hopeful and focused... THANKS SHIFU!!!! MUACKS!!!!! but decided to give myself a treat by catching a movie in town... went to watch trust the man... omg.. the critics gave it a C+.. but!!!! IT WAS a surprisingly SWEET SHOW... it had the topic on TRUST!!!! whether to believe in your man... the story revolves around 2 couple; an older and a younger. the older couple faced problems like the guy was havin an affair and the female lead found out.. well.. it was great that the male lead realised that he was wrong and din cont with the affair.. it brings up a prob tt my clique had discuss... wat if one day u finds out that ur husband cheats on ya.. wat will ya do... sth to ponder on....

the younger couple faced a prob of different directions. i always believe that a couple should grow together in every aspects of life.. this couple had been tog for 7 yr and the gal thinks tt they shld get married and have a kid.. but the guy does not want. in the end the gal chose to leave the guy and dated other man.. well.. the guy realised that he loves the gal alot.. and does not want to give up this r/s and chase her back.. well.. is this really love or just a habit havin her around.. it is a question that i sometimes ponder. can 2 pple get together cos they r used to each other and may not love each other? :)

i think it is a blessing to find someone u can trust totally and have the same common goals in life and work towards a better tml... i am still hopeful...

yesterday went shoppin with my family.. was a GIANT VIVO!!! omg.. first i saw PINK plastic cups, den i saw PINK tissue.. den i saw PINK Smarties.. den PINK Marshmallow... den PINK sparkling juices..omg... and the tt of xl's bday party came to mind... really feel like throwing a PINK birthday party next yr.. how does tt sounds... hmmmmmm my sis were all urgin me to do so... wat do ya think? hmmmmmmmmm....

Service Line in SINGAPORE

is service in Singapore getting worse or my expectations increasing? R we too used to just payin the 10% service charge and not expect anything? i am not tryin to be critical or stingy but i think there is indeed alot of room to grow especially in the service sector. maybe Singapore shld consider either paying the service staff really well and thus their staff will be happy and thus take pride in their job... eg pple in Japan or even Thailand!!! Or we shld really adopt the tipping system. this will make the service staff more enthusatic in their jobs and earn the respect of the consumers.. I seriously think that the Singapore Service Industry should really change. I am someone if u treat me nice and with respect.. i will compliment you... but it is damn tough to find such serice staff now.. everyone takes 10% for granted.

Ok i noe i sound really horrible.. esp when i am tellin everyone that i want to enter this line.. u guys r going to tell me i am sure nt able to take all the shit from my future customers... but i am faith in wat i am going to do.. if i believe in it.. i am sure that i will excel in it.. i will definietly have lots of pride in watever i am going to do in future..

OMG!!!!!!! the servings was sooo huge i really cannot finish... i was stuggling with it...haha... gave like 1 whole piece to jack... thanks for helpin to eat... .. haha... next time shld not order tt much .. omg!!!! who wants more food can jio me for eatin sessions.. i will order and norm cannot finish one... hehe.. well uncle asked his norm questions again... alot of ADULＴ STUFF!!!.... but really loved one question... how much do ya think u r happy with NUS life... hey my labbies and frens!!! it u ask me just yr!! i will give full MARKS!!!! without even thinkin.. though work is tough but it U guys who made it seem liek a breeze and not having to slog thr all the tired and stressful moments!!!!!! really loved ya guys... I am Back!!

had lots of fun in the past 3 days.....

FRI 1/12

Went back to lab after the long break for exams... was really excited and had mixed feelings.. cos most of my labbies r not back.. uncle ben was back though.. haha he forever there one lah.. but luckily he was there... omg.... otherwise haiz.. dunno lah... haha.... anyway.. though there were some hiccups during lab.. but things was alright... i guess i was luckily to have pple to help me!!! :) so lucky.... my shifu gave me a PINK!!! bracelet!! OMG!!!! PINK!!!!!! is it tt obvious i really am in love with PINK!!!!!! must tone down liao!!! but shifu i love the bracelet!!! haha.. it suits my dark complexion!!! :) Thanks SHIFU!!!! ALSO!!!! 2 pple said tt i lost wt!!! oMG!!! i think exam stress lah!! but it really made my day!!!!! must lose more wT!!!! but i am happy for now!!!! went for a run with fang yi in the evening... wanted to run 10 rounds... but managed only 8.. must jia yo in future.. it was really a good run!!! met adrain, her senior... we chatted for 2 freaking hours.. omg... but it was great.. cos he is very knowledgeable.... though he is chatty but wat he says makes sense.. omg... haha... it was damn enjoyable talkin to him... din felt tt it was 2 hrs... haha.. by the time we finish talkin!! omg.. it was 920.. i was super hungry... we quickly showered.. and was ready by 940... speed leh!!! 20mins!!! omg.. our norm is 1 hr... haha.. took a cab to holland V and met up with uncle ben for dinner ( his's supper) at Brekkos.. OMG!!!!! we chated till 1am before heading home to crash!!! it is nice to have such a close Guy fren.. can seek his opinion on a guy's mindset.. and views... :) thanks uncle BEN!!! i was super tired but had lots of fun!!!! :)

PS: to ans ur question tt night, ben, my ans is prob a 0 out of scale from 0 to 100... for the moment :)

OMG... today.. it was family.. i was feelin quite tired from the previous day.. but went out with my family!!! :) we went to Tampines IKEA!!!! omg.. it was such a wrong decision!!! we waited for half an hour for the bus.... it was soooo long...... and there was a super long queue...... but 3 buses came at the same time andi got a seat... :P when we reached there.. omg.. i never see so many pple in my life b4..... went into the mall... they were giving out small read hearts.. so cute.. haha.. i guess i was not so mad after tt afterall.... wanted to shop for a new furniture for my sis's rm... but it was too croweded and we decided to go back to tampines malll!! went to kopitiam for lunch.. .omg.. the kopitiam there has sooo good food... hehe.... good variety and unique stuff... omg... i was definitely spoilt for choices.. after meal, i was feelin super duper tired... wanted to head home to zzzzzaz ahah.... but the lure of the com fair at expo was too great... went to expo.. there was the JOHN LITTLE MEGA sale... omg i was shoppin like mad!!! bought 2 pairs of shoes.. and a nice bag.... good bargain!!!!!!! omg omg... i din feel like sleeping after tt ahhaha... am i a shopaholic must control!!!!! OMG must tell ya guy sth!!!!! the queue at the cashier was FREAKING LONG!!!! there were like close to 20 counters!! but the queue was super long!! i waited for close to 1.5 hrs in the queuse OMG!!!!! OMG!!!!! never in my life i this happen!!!! if anyone from there is lookin at this... prob do an evaluation and improve the next time!!! OMG!!!! went home after tt was.. super drained.... cos i was in heels the whole day.. my back ache.. really bad... but was looking forward to my pizza dinner haha.. had bbq chicken...oooooo totally love it... except for ONIONS!!! omg was super tired... but stayed up to type a report to my boss heeh....Pat actually jio me to club.... was sooo tempted.... hehe... but din go cos work more impt hahaha

I hope next week wld be more happening.. and i believe it will be.... so lookin forward to it!! :)

Had a great studying day.

Woke up pretty early today at 8am... had decided to study in sch with huifang :). went out of the house with my mummy at around 915am. this was my usual and i tt i wld be early in sch today.. was super proud of myself!! haha .. reached the sch lib and guess wat... everyone else was eariler!!! jie ying, xiao ling and hui fang were there since 930am.. so ashamed of myself.. omg.. but was really gald to see themm really miss havin fun with them..everytime i see think i think of fun only omg!!! haha.. but u peeps really brighten up my day.. :) went to the toilet and on the way back, met a SA fren.. eng choon.. i still rem his name.. bet he forgot mine haha... nice chap.. was my 1st 3mth fren.. ooo we were catching up on the old days and what's happenin in our lives.. it was a nice and warm feeling.. :) miss those old days.. :)

after tt uncle ben sms me.. in sch? i replied haha otherwise where at the market? hmmm he was like so fierce for what.. and best he sms fang yi askin how long does a gal's period last.. omg... and suggested that he shld get chocolates.. den i was liek if ya dun get dun come hahahaha WAS I MEAN? omg.. sorry uncle ben.. dun mean anything okies... oh must compliment that it was a very gentlemanly act!! continued to study in the afternoon .was quite confused abt a particular topic. wanted to find the prof but he was out.. so went to ask suresh.. haha.. thanks uncle for guiding me..

. slept abit in the lib hehe...den we went to xp's rm at ard 6pm.. wanted to jog.. was in our attire and guess wat!!! it rained.. omg.. i was so lookin forward to this jog.. BUT it rained.. well we waited for awhile and the rain stopped.. omg.. we were so thrilled.. omg omg.. so we went down to run.. on our way to the track.. it stormed... hiaz.. we ran all the way to the grandstand.. hehe.. the rain was really quite bad... we were totally soaked so we kinda waited for it to stopped. was deciding to check out the gym.. but in the end we waited.. there was lighting and thunder.. i was deciding if i shld run.. heh.. but ran for a while in the end.. and ran along the grandstand... omg.. cos the lighting was pretty bad.. after tt we went to munchie monkey to have dinner...alright.. enough of this... hehe.. back to books and mug...

Woke up at 11 am today... the sleep was good man.. have not slept for tt long these few weeks liao... wanted to meet uncle ben for step up.. but he he din reply my sms.. too bad den... went to meet steffy at 330 today.. hehe... she want to get a present for her best fren... so we went to bugis street... wow... RETRO is still in ... hehe.. everywhere was flooded with pokka dots.. and LOUD music... we managed to get her fren a nice retro top.. it was 26 but steffy manage to get it at 22.. coolr ight... if i .. think 26 26 lor... ehhe... after tt 2 hrs of shoppin.. omg.. we were so drained lah.. must be the loud music... hehe.. we went over to bugis junction wanted to cont our shoppin spree.. BUT too shag liao.. so went to have dinner.. eheh... stef brought me to this really nice spagadies place. called sketches.. u can creat our own spagadies.. at quite a reasonable price... get to choose a max of 3 pasta , 1 sauce and 5 toppins... ooooo it was damn nice.. hehe... must intro it to fang yi.. she will be sooo thrilled lor.. hehe.. the pasta + serive charge and Gst was like ERH!!!!! 12 bucks.. nt bad... love tt place.. hehe... must go again.. hehe..

sth tt we spoke abt was whether a guy and gal can just purely be FRENS!!!!! she thinks it is possible... ME 2!!!!! but everyone must be clear.. haha.. it is so cute how she makes this pt clear with some of her guy frens.. TTT WE R JUST ONLY FRENS hehe..cute huh.. i shld practice this too.. :)

omg.. today was muggin in the sch lib from 10 till 5 plus.. for surface sci... i have never done tt b4... was just plain studyin studyin n more of tt... but i was luckily to have study mates... hf, xl and uncle ben.. hehe.. must really thank u peeps... correct so many of my mistakes.. omg... hehe... esp the HREELS AND IR part hehe... diaoz right.. went str for the test.. and dr sim went thr the paper str after tt.. omg.. there were alot of memory work part... think must pia for the finals liao...

after tt met suresh and gang.. they were thankin me for the soccer ball tt i passed them.. i was hoping tt they will practice lah.. and u noe.. wat guys if ya reading this lah.. but i think abit the er.... went to NYDC to have dinner... we had our as usual uncle ben would you talk hehe..omg so many adult topics... oh no no NOT R21.. but more of mature stuff like gettin insurance..

came home today.. spoke to my mummy abt the family trip end yr.. still deciding if i shld got to taiwan with them.. but my fyp is at the back of my mind... i dunno i fi can play.. hmmm a decision tt i need to make b4 this weekend...

there is so much to do.. but so little time... hmmmmmm

TRUST

it takes alot of courage to trust someone fully. this is really tough... at least for me i find it tough.. for me .. either i trust u 100% and tell ya everything or it is the other.. normally in my case if i feel tt someone is sincere enough, can liao.. haha.. and tt is my bad pt too.. trust pple too much.. esp for frenships. and in the end get hurt. as for work... i find it tough to trust ppel unless i see if for myself.. tellin me is useless most of the time.

Trust is a big issue with r/s too.. i think it is quite impossible to ever find someone u can trust totally.. i really envy those who can do this. sometimes pple might say tt time is a the factor and eventually u will trust the person.. haha is this really true? can 2 pple believe wat the partner says.. hmmm i beg to differ. call me a pessimistic person. but i dun think tt will happen.. well BUT!!!!!!! ............................ i am still hopeful to find someone tt i can eventually trust.. :P wish me luck den!!! :)

LUNCH

was really sian this morning.. cos have been doing work for the past like 36 hrs.. hehe.. din really sleep properly last night... must be the tea!!! was turning and tossin on the bed... woke up damn early this morning.. 8plus.. was lazing on the bed.. din want to get up.. till 845am haha.. after breakfast was doing structural assignment.. quite challenging leh.. count till i see stars ahah..den cld take no more ..

met pat for lunch at VIVO.. haha... we went to sushi TEi... ate ebi bowl , fried squid, and salmon maki.. my fav was salmon maki... yum yumm.. the ebi bowl had lots of onions.. i hate onions.. eeeeek.... den we went to shop shop ard to digest the food.. ahhaha... i bought a necklace.. a pair of earings and heeh.. 2 CUTE clips... oooooo.. after which we headed for BEN and Jerry's ice-cream.. was quite full but heck, it is happy food.. it wld make me happy haha went to counter.. i was served by this really cute gal.. ya i mean gal.. she had big and pretty eyes.. hehhe like me.. and a beautiful smile... she was like r u 2 sharing.. y dun try the mix and match.. haha i was like.. er give me a min.. cos WAS really fulll , wanted a small scoop only.. but den after tt i was like ..er price abt the same.. so we got the mix and match.. we had New York super fudge choc, cookies and cream and Dublin Mudslide.. ( contains RUM) haha.. and almonds and hot fudge.. super sinful lah.. omg...... but heck... pat loved the cookies and cream totally... i liek new york one.. better haha.. pat mention that the dublin mudslide tasted like jiang qing.. i was liek where got.. must be the alcohol lah ahahahha..... den the more i tasted i was like.. hmmmm you tiao.. omg.. it tasted like tt... haha..... but we treid to finish... dman full lah... haha...

we went off after tt.. came to to cont work haha... but my bus broke down on the way home.. i was liek haiz.. and it was raining till u have a mudslide... so much after eatin tt mudslide haha... well had to get out of the bus and waited for another... when the next bus came... everyone rushed onto the bus like there were freebies like tt.. haiz.. the singaporean KSium!!!! haha... well but there was this guy.. at first i was liek ... wa not garang.. go up the bus must open umbrella.. even i also heck just run up the bus.. haha... but later he offered to shelter a lady up a bus.. hehe.. so gentlemanly.. WE NEED MORE OF SUCH MAN IN THIS WORLD MAN!! ahahhaha alright enough of this.. go back to mug liao hehe..
